The founder and president of Cornerstone Municipal Advisory Group, Mark Manquen manages the development of strategic solutions relating to other post-employment benefits (beyond pensions) for public- sector groups. Mark is an expert in current legislation and accounting standards impacting the public sector and specializes in GASB 45 consulting, Medicare/retiree drug subsidy, retiree health-care plans and trust services.
Previously, Mark was a tax CPA for UHY Advisors (formerly Follmer, Rudzewicz & Co., CPAs) and later was financial controller for Broner Glove & Safety.
Mark has earned a master's degree in tax from Walsh College and a bachelor of business administration from the University of Michigan. He is a resident of Shelby Township .
