For
more than two decades, I have worked with clients to
strategically plan their group benefits. My experience
with public and private organizations of all sizes, as
well as with non-profit groups and municipalities, has
enabled me to develop a depth of understanding regarding
the needs of virtually every type of employer.
Since beginning my career as an agent in 1981 and serving
16 years as a vice president for an agency specializing
in benefit services, my focus has always been on healthcare
cost containment. I seek out the most appropriate carriers
and plans for my clients, allowing them to focus on running
their businesses. Together we pinpoint all the concerns
of the business owner regarding the design, administration
and funding of group benefit programs. I then work to
develop the most innovative benefit solutions for employers,
including effective employee communication of all the
benefit programs.
The Cornerstone Benefits method of coordinating benefit
binders with Web sites and benefits statements is a pioneering
milestone in our profession’s efforts to provide
better communications tools for our clients. The foundation
of my work with Cornerstone clients is the ability to
continue to develop new methods of cost containment and
communication.
