Maintaining
a solid professional foundation, as well as a strong
sense of community, is a very important aspect of my
career. As a broker offering insurance and estate-planning
services, I consistently work to remain knowledgeable
about the most up-to-date information and techniques
in the financial industry, and I have enhanced my professional
skills even further through a number of training and
certification programs.
My clients have ranged from manufacturers and entrepreneurs
to service firms, physicians, teachers and police officers.
Over 30 years, I learned the needs of employers, employees
and their families by helping businesses of all sizes
market their products and services. As a direct-mail
business owner myself, I employed more than 40 people
full time. My understanding of human resources issues,
therefore, arises from first-hand experience.
Coming from a military family, I’ve traveled the
world. After two tours of duty in Vietnam as a United
State Marine, I became especially active in the Veterans
of Foreign Wars. I’m also the fundraising chairman
for the Michigan Tactical Officers Association; an organization
comprised of police officers whose serve as snipers and
SWAT team members.
My real-world experience has prepared me well for the
special needs of today’s business organizations—and
for the special clients of Cornerstone Benefits.
